Looking back, I can’t tell if my mom was concerned or inspired, but her words were: ‘Keep going, you’ll find your way.’”

Hi, I’m Christina Sullivan, and welcome to my new blog at Christina Cosmetics. From the moment I picked up my first crayon, I’ve been passionate about color, creativity, and living authentically — and that same passion drives everything I do in beauty and art.

I’m a makeup artist, painter, and the creator of Perfect Pigment - The 1 Minute Miracle Makeup. The idea was born out of both my art and my lifelong passion for health and beauty. When I was learning to paint portraits in oils, I struggled with using just one “flesh tone” paint—it never captured the richness of real skin. I began to wonder how I could translate what I do with makeup onto the canvas… and that thought sparked the vision for what would become Perfect Pigment: a blend of natural pigments designed to recreate the depth and beauty of real skin, just as light and color play across a canvas— the art of makeup and the art of painting come together in one simple, effortless compact.

I’ve always been passionate about health and organic living. Back in the 90s, I was already talking about organic makeup, long before it became popular. For me, beauty has always been more than skin-deep. It’s an experience, a lifestyle, and a reflection of kindness and authenticity. I also believe in the “fake it till you make it” philosophy — sometimes confidence only comes after you take that first step.

As head of hair and makeup for Cristina Ferrare’s Home and Family show, I saw how many women felt overwhelmed by makeup. They didn’t know where to start, and that feedback stayed with me. Not long after the show ended, I created Perfect Pigment: a simple, intuitive system that gives beautiful results in only a minute, with no special skills required.

Because at the end of the day, beauty isn’t just about how you look — it’s about how you feel, and how that feeling touches everything you do.
